recorded in haiku-pauwela, maui between 3rd febraury and 14th february 2016 anthony child aka surgeon presents the second volume of recordings of buchla music easel recorded in the jungle of maui. again we find child s in a more ambient guise and setting as the calm breath of the jungle sets a real time back-drop for his electronic explorations. there is no additional layering and all environmental sounds simply occurred throughout the improvisations. the range on display veers from melodic drones to sparkling arpeggios all revolving around a thick bed of (buchla) electronic and (environmental) acoustic interplay. nine personality type map hovers on a bed of syncopated rhythms whilst the nearby sonic mist of the forest seeths in and out of the frame whilst nightfall of diamonds provides a sonic analogy for the darkness and light contradiction that occurs only in such rich natural environments. the simultaneous acts of improvising, listening and creating provide a rich setting for the curious listener. another gem in a catalogue filled with gold.

kensuke fukushima is an established name in the music industry, with releases on wax in a handful of different labels. his astonishing work on “get in” proves that fukushima’s vision is wide and obeys no standards, resulting in this unique piece of music that we proudly present. besides the dub version from fukushima, this edition also counts with two remixes.
through the hands of andy book, the label owner, we receive this clubby interpretation, full of raw elements and fantastic twist in the melody of the original track. her joys, delivers a jazzy approach to fukushima’s track, making good use of acoustic percussion.
as in the first release, this one will be strictly limited to 300 copies. no repress.

dont touch my sister is romain azzaros rouge mécanique début album. cinematic hazy instrumentals and a heady mix of post-punk, italo disco, ambient and noise shine through azzaros dedication to his signature telecaster slide-guitar, bringing acoustic life to electronica. citing the visual realm as a strong influence on his music, rouge mécaniques releases are often accompanied by short films and hand picked design. the prelude video for dont touch my sister was born of a collaboration between romain azzaro and the film maker louis vignat, as inspired by the cover artwork of les beaux arts de paris artist jeanne briand.

brilliant tv and movie themes by francois de roubaix!!! on 20 november 1975 francois de roubaix disappeared while diving. before going towards this tragic death, francois had received an order for a television series theme tune commissaire moulin. as usual, the composed melody has been indelibly printed in the collective memory. francois de roubaix always put his fingers where it should be! between electronic tricks and acoustic works, this record brings the themes of this television series together with other musics composed for never released or still unknown projects... all unpublished music, never pressed on vinyl! it soon becomes clear that francois de roubaix feels confortable with this kind of exercises. the result is every time sublime. recommended!!

zaquoir alias matthias groß is a producer and musician currently living in leipzig. after sending us more than 10 gigabites of great music, we sat down together and tied a selection of his really eclectic styles of production together into one lp, creating some sort of showreel created in the timespan of over 15 years. zaquoir himself sees the record as a reminiscent mood of a donkey in the sardinian sun and describes the record as a trip in itself, allowing the listener to traverse the lines of various acoustic landscapes. the tracks on the lp where produced in six different places, including a historic house in the centre of vilnius, the artist residency blumen in leipzig, a french-german art association and a village in northern bavaria.

repress in blue vinyl !! the late french soundtrack composer (1939-1975) was one of the first to use frequency modulators on an 8 track homestudio. he was known for his melodic works mixing electronic & acoustic. his oeuvre has been sampled by many. this release devotes a posthumous work composed for a cousteau documentary which was refused, probably beacuse it was too avant-garde. on the second disc youll find different tasty style-exercises that show to what extend roubaix manipulated the modulators with ingenuity.
